Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly

Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (abbreviated as the KMA) is one of the 261 Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) in Ghana. Kumasi is the administrative capital of the Ashanti Region. It is a fast growing Metropolis with an estimated population of more than two million people and an annual growth rate of about 5.4%. The Metropolis is about 254 kilometers; its physical structure is basically circular with a central located commercial area.
